Don't you hate that feeling of wasting all that time making things that turn out to be a flop........grrrrrrr. Oh well lesson learnt.
week 8, this kids has
- "chicken salad" and lettuce mountain bread wrap. (the chicken salad is leftover BBQ chook and celery blitzed in a mini food processor and mixed with mayo and salt and white pepper. It's even better if you add in walnuts too but had to leave this out due to the school nut policy)
- choc and zucchini muffins using this recipe - but with a few changes. I swapped butter for olive oil and white sugar for raw and I used grated dark choc instead of cocoa powder. I also added dried craisins to half the batter to add some extra pizazz. The batter is super moist so when you make them into muffins you don't need to worry about them being dry.
- carrot sticks
- soy milk with a sippah straw
