Pie night

Yes that's right I said Pie Night! Such a simple dinner really, but everyone at my house likes it so there are usually very few complaints.
Pie night is one of my ways of jazzing up leftovers. Keeping the weekly grocery budget in check with the ever growing prices is becoming an important part of my job as domestic goddess. So leftovers are rarely tossed away and even though we don't always mind eating the same thing twice or three times it is nice to switch things up a bit. So this weeks pies were beef burgundy. We have been known to have curry, roast vege and even spinach and ricotta with an egg in it too.
And because all I had to do was defrost the filling and pop it in some puff pastry and into the pie maker, I have time spare to blog all about it!
Anyone else have some cook-once-eat-twice tips or how to make the almighty dollar stretch further please leave a comment.
